Main Screen Guide
This guide explains the layout of the standard Main Screen provided by AGENTIC STAR — the screen end users interact with day to day — and how to use each of its features.
This guide describes the screen layout and features. Button names, labels, and options may vary depending on the platform version and administrator configuration (this guide is based on the standard layout at the time of writing).
Logging in and accessing the Main Screen
When you open the Main Screen URL while signed out, you are automatically redirected to the login screen of the authentication service (a host starting with auth.). After you log in, the Main Screen (a new chat) is displayed. The language switcher — a globe icon at the top right of the login screen — lets you choose the display language from several languages, including Japanese and English.
Logging in takes two steps.
| Step | Action |
|---|---|
| 1. Enter email | Enter your email address and press "Continue". If you don't have an account, register from "Sign up". |
| 2. Enter password | Enter your password and press "Login". Use "Show password" to check what you typed, and "Forgot password?" to reset it. |
Sign-up
If you don't have an account, go to the registration screen from "Sign up" on the login screen. Enter the following and press "Sign Up".
| Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Enter the email address to register. | |
| Password | Enter your password. Use "Show password" to toggle visibility. |
| Confirm Password | Re-enter the same password for confirmation. |
The password must meet the strength requirements shown on screen under "Password strength" (length, character types, and a matching confirmation); the "Sign Up" button becomes enabled once they are met. If you already have an account, return to the login screen from "Login".
Screen Layout
The Main Screen consists of three main areas.
| Area | Location | Role |
|---|---|---|
| Sidebar | Left | Conversation list, conversation search, account settings |
| Header | Top | Conversation title; language and theme toggles |
| Message input area | Bottom | Enter and send messages, attach files, select the agent |
On a new chat, the center of the screen shows the logo and the description of the currently selected agent.
Features

You can collapse the sidebar with "Collapse sidebar".

Entering and Sending Messages
Enter your instruction (message) to the AI in the input area at the bottom.
- Type your text and send it with the Send button. The Send button is disabled while the input is empty.
- While a response is being generated, the Send button changes to Stop generating; press it to interrupt generation.
- Attach file: Attach a file and interact about its contents. You can attach from two sources: "Attach from local" (upload an image or document from your device) and "Attach from library" (select a file from the library).
A notice — "Answers are not always correct, so be sure to check important information." — is always shown below the input area.
Selecting an Agent (agent selection UI)
The input area has a button showing the name of the currently selected agent. Pressing it opens a dropdown list of the available agents so you can choose which agent to talk to. Each entry in the list shows the agent's name and description.
| Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Agent name | Select it to start chatting with that agent. On a new chat, the center of the screen shows the description of the selected agent. |
| Description | Explains the agent's role and how to use it (e.g. "Document Verification Agent" — verifies documentation against a specified SDK to surface missing, incorrect, or outdated information). |
The types and number of available agents depend on the administrator's configuration. The agents shown in this list are the ones registered and published in the admin console.
Notes
- The features on this screen (navigation items, available agents, etc.) may appear differently depending on the platform version and administrator configuration. Depending on the administrator's settings, additional features not covered here may also appear.
